Webinar Objective: ACER presents and discusses the LT capacity calculation methodology for the Core CCR with stakeholders, in order to take informed decisions.
On 30 April 2021, ACER received a request by the Core National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs) to adopt a decision on the Core TSOs Proposal of the Long Term Capacity Calculation methodology (LT CCM) pursuant to Article 4(10) of the FCA Regulation.
Long‐term cross border capacity calculation promotes effective long‐term cross‐zonal trade. By calculating reliable capacities and making them available to market participants at an early stage, long-term capacity calculation allows for long‐term planning and provides hedging opportunities.
ACER launched on 5th July 2021 a public consultation in order to collect comments from stakeholders on this methodology and take informed decisions. Find out more about the Public Consultation (link)
In this public workshop, ACER will present the methodology and its proposals for amendments, providing also clarifications to the stakeholders for the questions of the public consultation, seeking their input on the topics of their interest.
