The Agency has launched a public consultation on the draft Opinion providing technical guidance for the introduction of Emission Limits, for the participation of generation capacity in Capacity Mechanisms.
Pursuant to Article 22(4) of Regulation (EU) 2019/943 (Electricity Regulation), a technical guidance related to the calculation of the emission values introduced in the same article was referred to the Agency for an Opinion.
In order to gather views and information, the Agency seeks comments from interested stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, capacity providers and transmission system operators, on the draft Opinion. Comments should be provided by referring to specific sections of the document, clearly indicating the elements that may need improvements.
All interested parties are invited to submit their comments by 22 October 2019, 23:59 hrs (CET).
