ACER consults on the methodology for pricing intraday cross-zonal capacity

The Agency launches today a public consultation on the methodology for pricing intraday cross-zonal capacity. All interested parties are invited to submit their comments by 30 October 2018.

In July 2018, all regulatory authorities informed the Agency that they could not approve the proposal from all TSOs (transmission system operators) on pricing of intraday cross-zonal capacity, which is based on Article 55 of the EU Regulation on Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management (CACM Regulation). Therefore, the Agency became competent to decide on the proposal in accordance with Article 9(12) of the CACM Regulation.

To take an informed decision on the TSOs proposal, the Agency seeks the comments of interested stakeholders on the main problems raised by all regulatory authorities, as well as on other elements that may need improvements.

All interested parties are invited to submit their comments by 30 October 2018, 23:59 hrs (CET).
