What is it about?

​​​​​​​​In the framework of the Grid Con​nection European Stakeholder Committee, the European Commission proposed that the EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) initiates the process to amend the existing European Grid Connection Network Codes (GC NCs) in September 2022.

Against this background, ACER and the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER) have drafted a consultation paper on the GC NCs and the possible amendments.

This public consultation aims to collect views from stakeholders on key areas for the forthcoming amendments to the Electricity Grid Connection Network Codes as outlined in the Policy Paper​.

Interested parties are invited to submit their views by 10 June 2022, 23:59 hrs (CET).

ACER and CEER will also hold a public workshop on Wednesday 25 May 2022, from 10.00 to 12.00 CET, to present the consultation paper and gather further views from stakeholders.
